Maybe something like the beaks or BSQ kit would work with the skunk2 bar? They're designed for the ITR bar, but the diameter is the same so I think it should work.

hmm.. i was thinking about it and i think there might be a problem... there is 2 nuts welded to the chassis in the back of the subframe. how am i supposed to install the back plating (beaks mounting kit) if these 2 nuts are in the way? am i supposed to knock them off to get a clean flat surface? btw, how much would a typeR rubber bushing and Dbracket cost me at the dealers?

Not sure, on either question. I believe people cut/knock off that nut.

Check http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.net for prices.

YUP...remove the lower control arms, and get a chisel and hammer. Knock off both the nuts, flatten out the torn subframe sheet metal and the BEAKS kit, backs it up nicely. And will prevent future failures..

Tore both sides out of my Del sol, and the Beaks kit never failed...

You can go to http://www.geocities.com/bretq/mounting_kit.html to purchase my BSQ Type-R rear swaybar mounting/reinforcement kit.

Here is a picture of the mounting kit.

With my BSQ mounting kit there is no need to remove the 2 tack-welded nuts (2 per side / 4 total). You only need to remove the 2 smaller tack-welded nuts which hold the ABS bracket. You can go to my webpage at http://www.geocities.com/bretq/swaybar_install.html for complete step-by-step instructions with photos.

Here's how:

1.) Go to http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.net/...searchpart.jsp and enter the following part numbers to check prices:

52315-ST7-Z01 swaybar bushing (2 needed)
52308-SS0-000 bushing bracket (2 needed)
