how are you changing the miles without breaking it?

 

nice cluster, but they won't fit 96-00 p&p. i have a 96 hatch dx and tried to put a 99si cluster in and the temp, back lights and a couple other things did not work. i chalked it up to one being odb2-a and the other odb2-b. stil have not figured it out. ran into similar problem installing teg cluster in my eg. but anyways gl with sale

He probably opened the plastic cover and rolled it back manually. Not to hard to do this and not break anything...

 

it is hard there is a litlle plastic piece in there that breaks very EASILY

 

just gotta be careful.


and this will fit all 96-00 civic. if you put it in your car and stuff didnt wrok right your car had something wrong with it or the cluster was bad. This cluster will just drop right in and work. real nice bump for you

 

It's a little more work than that. If you do it that way, there's a good chance you'll roll it back out of place breaking the fragile sticks which hold the bar which holds the gears for the wheel of numbers. Doing that will making the numbers count but not fully lining up properly for example you'll see a lot half numbers and/or won't count at all depending which support stick you broke. I take the cluster apart, down to the odometer, meaning removing bezels, needles, faces, and so on. I then put everything back together, synchronize the needles to read accurate and test everything else before putting it up for sale.

This cluster works into any 96-00 Civic. The cluster that previous guy had must of been messed up.
