Default Another "My 2009 SFWD" thread

Will be updating this through out the year.

Ive been playing around with this car for less than year now. I decided to get a little more serious about it this winter. Last year the car was a stock block, stock head LS/VTEC running on 15psi. Im estimating the car is currently making 430-450ish. Last year had a best time of 11.5 and a best mph of 129.9mph. The car was a very basic setup. Ebay manifold, Holset HX35 turbo, GSR cams, tuned on Crome PRO, B16 tranny, spinning 22" slicks all on 12psi, never made it to the track on 15 and the Skunk2 cams.

Heres some pics and vids of it from last year:

Fastest pass: 11.53@127
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdUlYxeF_4k

I pulled the car outta 1st on the launch
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ismtSnevMiI

The setup for this year:
AEBS PRO Sleeved 83mm, Eagle knife edged crank, ARP throughout, Z10 girdle, Ross pistons, Pauter Rods, ACL bearings, Type R water and oil pumps.
GSR head with complete Brian Crower springs, retainers, and valves, Skunk2 pro1 cams, Skunk2 intake manifold (gonna change to an Edelbrock Victor X)
Borg Warner S371 turbo
2.5" piping
Treadstone FMIC
AFI T4 top mount manifold
Dual 44 Tial Gates
4" Exhaust going up through the hood
Bosch 1000cc injectors
BDL fuel rail
Walbro intank with a Bosch 044 under the hood
GSR tranny with Type R flywheel and XTD stage 4 clutch
Stock axles
Quaiffe LSD
24.5" slicks
Golden Eagle scatter shield
Gonne be set up on Stinger EMS

Cage will be good for 10.0 for this year (dont plan on goin faster than that this season)

Overall goal for this year will be consistent 10.5 and making 650+whp....next year, who knows.

Some pics of the new parts:

Damn, did AFI get a robotic welder also? The welds on the runners look REAL good.

Good luck with the new setup. From watching the vids it looks like your driving skills are great.

Used the roomates S362 to see how it looked in the car. Gonna take a little more moving stuff around to get it all in, but its goin really well.

Nope, Falken Ziex's, 205-50-15. consistent 1.91 60ft on my old teg setup on 10psi.

Its about done. Car feels AWESOME on 13psi. Making full boost by 5200 right when VTEC comes in. Still gotta hang the FMIC solidly. Just kinda threw it in to take it for a drive.
