Im looking to buy a spoiler for my 05 type-s. I have seen type-s out there that comes with oem spoiler and it's neat. I have searched ebay and other sites, i found type-r style, jdm style, jdm type-r style, and type-s spoiler style. I'm confused. Are they all the same? I mean as for the shape or design? Pictures are hard to tell if they all are alike. Just want to make sure before i order a painted spoiler from ebay. Where did you guys get your spoiler and which is better, oem or jdm (if there is any differences)?

 

theres usdm oem and jdm oem, i dont think it applies to dc5 spoilers though. pretty sure theres no diff between usdm and jdm dc5 spoiler though. if you want a oem one go through a honda parts website or craigslist from a parted car or something, generic =ebay

 

really so they both are the same. thats strange. there should be a different if it stated as jdm ad usdm. if someone can post their usdm and jdm spoilers that would be nice

 

the only difference I was told is that the OEM USDM comes with the mini decklid and the JDM is just a spoiler

this is USDM it has the mini deck lid

 

see this mini decklid is so hard to find! its already a week and i still cant find one.

 

The decklid spoilers are easy to find. I'm assuming you are under a budget though? You can always buy directly from an Acura dealership.

where there was only 3 wings that were made for the DC5... The Type-R one, the deck lid one that is on the site and an ugly low wing...

Btw the deck lid only came out for the 05-06.....
