Default Tire pressure question

Since I got 17" tires on my 97 Accord, would I still pump the same amount of air (32 psi) on those tires? The tires are 205/45 for the 17" and I think 185/65 on the stock tires (15"). Thanks.

Stock pressure is a good place to start. If you notice uneven wear or weird handling you can move up or down by a few PSI if you know what you are doing. I think the FAQ explains it a lot better.

I run 35psi all around on my EJ8.

i keep mine 5 psi under max pressure mainly because when you drive for long periods of time the heat builds pressure causing psi to go up

Wow, please don't post such bad advice here. It's okay if you don't know a lot about tires, but if you do, then you should be reading and asking questions, not posting ignorant advice.

The maximum pressure shown on the sidewall is NOT to be used in any way as a desirable setting, not even by deducting 5 psi from it. It is simply a capacity which should not be exceeded. There is NO reason to keep your pressure 5 psi below the maximum. In almost all cases, you will get better grip from your tires with a lower pressure setting, typically one close to the pressure recommended by your car's manufacturer.
