I`m a little new with Engine work and all that. A Couple Months ago, I Seafoamed my car because a friend of mine told me it was good for my engine and it would clean out all the carbon build up [160xxx Miles]
I put the Vacuum Hose connecting from the Intake Manifold > Firewall [Disconnecting from the Firewall] into the bottle. Literally not even 1/4 of the bottle went in. Bottle still looks Full. I Forgot to Throttle the engine and my car bogged and stalled. He said that was normal and just wait for about 30 minutes. 2 Hours later my Car still doesn`t start up. I replaced my sparkplugs and everything and still no good. The Car still Cranks and everything works fine, it just won`t Start.
My Friend told me it was a Chip in my Distributor so i`ll replace it anyways.
I Have 2 Questions; if you guys could kindly help me out please.
1. How do i take off the Silver Rotor in my Distributor Cap ? It's Stuck on there pretty good and i don`t see another screw holding it in place.

2. Are there any other Solutions i should consider that would be wrong with my car ? [ignition Coil, Anything inside my engine, etc.]
Thanks in advance. I Really want me car to get running.

you have to take it off, cuz the cam is restricting it from turning. You could avoid taking it off by turning your whole motor at the crank....or just take off the 3 bolts holding it on.

I Just want to take off the rotor to see the chip inside.
I Was reading through Team Integra and some guy 3 Years ago had the same problem as me, putting it in the same place and it won`t start. He said his Ignition Coil shorted out and after he replaced it, it ran. So i`m going to replace it and see what`s up.

dude you have to take off your distributor. to be able to spin it and you'll the screw holding the rotor in and unscrew that out. and there you go. i think your friend ****ed up your motor lol just saying. your rotor still looks like it looks good though. but theirs that wierd curve in the middle of the rotor though..if your car won't start it usually be most like spark or fuel. test ur spark first. stick a phillips in the spark plug hole and see if it sparks or if you hear it spark.

Just leave the distributor cap off like the picture show, then disconnect the two connectors at distributor, after that crank the engine like (click click) until u can see the bolt of the rotor, don't need to take the distributor out.
