having a hard time keeping her running. the fuel pump will cut on and at the end of the cycle it will start, all good. i get back turn the car off wait about 15 minutes go out agian to start it and it doesnt start, no fuel pump noise, nothing at all. im thinking alternator or a loose ground wire somewhere possibility a battery anyone else have any insight?

 

nobody wants to believe this or check this out b/c it sounds too simple, but its probably a battery connection. tap/check battery post to terminal connections, & terminal to cable connections.

 

tried that i get lights lights and instrument panel but no fuel pump and wont start

Check the fuel pump fuse & if there is power there. Sometimes low resistance (bad) pumps will blow the fuse.. Next step jump 12 volts to the fuel pump. If pump does not run replace pump. If pump runs, suspect main relay or wiring between main relay & pump in that order.

 

Maybe main relay, fuel pump or clogged fuel filter or bad ecu.....
