what is a "clock spring" ?

Default what is a "clock spring" ?

Someone told me that is what's wrong with my cruise control and horn in my 97 civic ex
Know anything about this?

I'm guessing 'they' are referring to the electrical/mechanical connection between the steering wheel and the steering Column.
Pull the steering wheel and see what you can find...

its a spring in a time clock that helps it operate properly....

j/k its also known as a cable reel. when you take your steering wheel off you will notice a piece of plastic with a couple of wires and a conector sticking out of it. it rotates. any ways thats what your looking for. g/l
