93 Accord EX and D4 blinking
Hello,
The D4 light on my 1993 Honda Accord EX recently started blinking. The car drives very sluggish and seems as if it were running on half power.
I've done some research here and on other sites and have managed to begin the troubleshooting process. I've located the blue service connector just below the right hand side of the glove box. I have also followed the procedure of turning off the ingition, placing a jumper wire in the connector, turning the ignition to the "ON" position and watching the dash for blinking lights. The D4 light is the only one that blinks and is repeating 7 short blinks, which I understand to be a code 7. Since the D4 is the only thing blinking, I *think* this is a trouble code for the TCM. Can anyone tell me what this code means? I have also taken the TCM out of the car, removed the 4 screws that hold it together and inspected the circuit board. From what I can tell, there are no burnt parts on the board.
Thanks for your time,
emptx

Excellent link! Thanks so much, I've printed the topic for my hard copy collection of useful threads. Next time my dad's '91 acts up, I'll have steps to troubleshoot it rather than just pulling the Negative terminal off the battery.
