As the title says i am swapping a H22 into a 94 dx 4dr!! Anyway, i just need some opinions... Is it easier to mount the shifter box and run the cables in before or after the motor is in... also, what is the best vtec crossoer point and rev limit?

 

Easier to run cables after trans is in position so that you know cables are in correct position. But if I were you I would just source a bseries trans and h2b kit. It'll save you from having to cut a hole for the shifter box and the btrans are much better

 

i thought about the h2b kit, but i am just going to hold off on that... Im not worried about the hole, it can always be welded shut again if needed
