Default Brake Lights don't work please help

My girl drives a 98 four door honda accord EX. The brake lights on my girls car will not light up when you step on the brakes. the single light inside the car in the back of the back seat lights up when you step on the brakes but the ones in the tailights does not. i have already switched out the brake light switch but it still does not light up. Please let met know if anyone has adad the same problem and how did you fix it.

Note: posting to in almost all fourms to get some feed back instead of one fourm only

wrong forum x2, but since I am already here. Sounds like a wiring problem. If the 3rd brake light it working that tells me the brake switch works. You said the fuses, bulbs and sockets are good. Take out the bulbs and check for 12 volts and ground at the sockets, you don't have at least one of the two.
