I feel it's time I introduce myself. My name is Joaquin and I have a Honda problem! I have been lurking and getting info from this site since late '07, it was when I started my Honda project that is now my daily driver. Her name is betty, 'cause she is ugly. She is an '88 four door with a '90 ls. I am in the process of spending lots of money on her. She needs paint and wheels and I am slowly redoing the interior, since she is from New Mexico and the sun is not kind. But hey, no rust!!! I have more pics, not great but I have them. Where would be the appropriate place to show them? Any questions just ask!

Clean engine bay, stock looks best, but if you have a stock airbox, throw a timing cover on that beast. Welcome!

 

The valve cover came that way when I bought the engine. I don't want to spend the money to replace the valve cover on this engine when I have an LSV project in the works. My engine code is B18a1. Who knows, I might break down if I can find a cheap LS valve cover. Thanks for the warm welcome and all the compliments!
