Default crankcase breather question...

first off i have searched and searched and came across one thread about it. it also had a link to youtube to show how it looks when it on. i read in hondatuning mag. That its good for freeing up crankcase pressure, prevent detonation and free some HP. so it all sounds good to me. but im not sure where to start or where to look for a kit or even how to make one myself. ive seen those ebay kits and i always believed you get what u pay for. LOL. So any help or advice would be great. BTW i am building a B20Vtec if that helps.

King Motorsports can modify your valve cover. In the market section there a few guys that sell kits. Catch cans, hoses and fittings.

Thanks for the help so far. Yeah I have seen guys tap the holes in their valve covers. I really don't want to do that. Is there any other way to do it without sacrificing the stock look?

i built mine for less than £20 quid.

£5 on a 1 liter ally drink.hiking flask.
turn it upside down and on the base drill some holes for some brass 10mm workshop air line fittings (i got a bag of 8 for about £3)

get a tube of one part polyurethane seam sealer (this stuff is great as a glue, oil/temp resistant and very strong, glue the brass fittings into the top, i have 6 in the top of mine ,any lest over fill your engine mounts with it. stiffens them up laods but still allows some movement so not as bad as true poly engine mounts )

get some stainless wire wool (you want the thick strip type not the fine nasty stuff) and shove the can full of it to aid separation of vapor from the gas)

blow the rest on good sized quality rubber tube.

here is mine:

i run one from the block to can, one from the vale cover to can, and one from the can out the bottom of the engine bay. the two spare ports are for my extra valve cover to can tubes (its on my to do list) when i get round to it i am getting a pipe welded into the de-cat to draw it all out rarther than reley on the system pressurizing to force it out
