lol, this question never stops, from the treads i saw. It comes down to preference. ABS is in my opinion for people that panic and cant react in a situation.
I also want a cleaner look, doing a wire tuck also. On the plus side a bit of weight reduction. Also i have JDM axles with no rings on them.

"Jas9848" Why such specific years and cars for the prop valve?
Thanks for the reply's guys

because both of the cars are non-abs and have rear disc brakes. they are both 4040 valves. and eg ex coupe with rear disc would work also, but some of them have abs. an abs prop valves only have 4 ports (they are split front/rear through the abs unit).
incorrect.... the prop valve for a 94-97 rs integra is diff... its like the ones on the 92-95 civics the lines will not match up right..... U need a prop valve from a 98+ integra rs or a 99-00 civic si.... those are the same part numbers.... as for the lines u need the 2 lines from the master cylinder and the 2 lines for the front wheels..... the rear are the same.... in all it was a pretty cheap and easy mod... i've done 2 integras... sux that the search wont bring up the ABS delete thread in the integra section..... there are plenty of good pics to show..... and also the part numbers u need....

i dont think hes dumb because he wants to remove the abs... its actually a good mod for road racing... i personally don't like abs..
No, it isn't. In road racing, ABS doesn't detract from anything; in fact, it helps, as a learning aid as well as a safety mechanism. If you are really good at track driving, you know how to do "threshold braking", in which the brakes are just at the threshold of locking up without actually doing so. You won't actually get into the ABS unless you're doing something wrong, in which case it's a good way to learn how to execute threshold braking. Furthermore, if you get into a panic situation - and yes, this can happen in road racing, when the car whose bumper you're right behind does something unexpected - ABS can be a big help to maintain your steering ability. Even more so if the pavement is wet or the car ahead dumps fluid (which happens, on the track).
But it's your car; if you want to disconnect the ABS, go ahead. Charles Darwin would approve! Maybe one day you'll win one of his awards as a result!

Don't take it out.
The Integra Type R's ABS system was envied by all the race teams. During its' time the ABS was one of the main reasons it did so well in real competion.
In all honesty you are devaluing your R. The ITR was the only car of its kind with a sophisticated ABS system in its class during its time in the late 90's.
The ABS system is a piece of Technology that helped make the R what it is.

I wouldn't go so far as saying it would devalue the R.
It's not like he's cutting the whole car up and putting in a small/big block V8. Removing/reinstalling the ABS is just a matter of a weekend's worth of work...in short, completely reversible.

In fact, I think it's even the same system found on 99-00 Civics...
When I had my ITR, the ABS was absolutely positively amazing.
If it's for looks, then you don't deserve that car.
The whole wire tuck thing is cool, but I prefer my own safety rather than impressing a bunch of fanboys.

Apparently, they are indeed!

OP - What intercooler is that?
Edit*
This is user RedCoupe.
same here. i have never understood abs removal or why people do it. if you're so good at braking standard you should never notice the abs being there. snow and ice racing is the only place i would not want abs.
Hey, thats me.

Well, I've never tracked a car but on the street, I'm glad I've had abs on numerous accounts.
