Default Am I reading this right??????

not that its a big deal but are the 88 crx's rear contol arms the same as a R?
If so does this mean you can use struts from the same year for the R?

The 88 CRX used a type R style rear LCA... it was stamped steel with the shock sitting inside the arm. In 89 they switched to the convention cast LCA with the shock mounting around it. All the various bits of geometry are likely different, so I wouldn't say they're the "same," but they are the same "style." Shocks will interchange, but I'm not sure if there's a point.

X2 with steronz.

I'm using those LCA's with ITR rear shocks. the bushings on the shocks had to be shaved in order for them to fit into the LCA's.

the only difference I notice is the holes for ABS to be mount to. but zipties works somewhat. I have ITR LCA's but lazy to switch the two just for that.

when the search engine is good again, there are several threads covering this topic.
