i bought that ebay lip and it's not a bad piece at all. here's a pic installed.

 

Not trying to be a dick to you, (becuase to each his own), but I HATE the knockoff Type R lips like that. Next to a real Type R lip, there is a HUGE difference.

Only reason I say something is because I ordered that SAME EXACT lip on eBay a week back and it just came in today.... The picture in the auction showed an exact USDM Type R lip, but of course, what showed up at my door was that horrible fake.......... :grrrrrr: $80 down the toilet.

FWIW though, I test fit the lip just for giggles and it fit amazingly well for an eBay rip-off. But, IMO, just spring for the extra change and get a jdmshit.com ITR replica. It's the best lip, next to the OEM peice.

There's the type R "style" lips, which is really flared up. Then there's the ITR replica lips which looks very close so the authentic one which just sticks out a tad bit on the side. It isn't as flushed as the OEM piece, but looks infinite times better than the type R "style" ones.

 

if your going to get a lip get an OEM one. Don't get the knock off ITR lip from ebay. you'll see the difference once you buy the ebay one, compare it to the oem itr lip and you'll see a big difference lol

Here... In this you can see the difference between the eBay Type R lip and the OEM...

Notice how the eBay one flares out more and has softer, rounder edges. Also, the OEM lip comes down further in the middle part of the lip, and it's more flush across and doesn't have huge bulges.

man, i never noticed that till now. the OE fits the lines of the car more and doesn't stick out as much. this honda world is crazy. right when you buy something, you later realize there was a better way. so many of my parts that i like were bought the second time around.

 

Story of my life, haha. But it's the "little things" that make all the difference in the world to an enthusiast.

 

i like the itr lip more. i mean the real one. the spoon/mugen one just looks wierd on integra's to me..cuz my boy had it on his 2000 integra looks wierd but alright..i still like type r more

 

i bought the itr style one that flares up, not worth it...

 

i had the ITR style ditched it..Of course i had to buy the entire front end from a kid who went with a JDM front.. But i got the lip i wanted plus extra parts..lol OEM FTW...big difference and it mounts much more secure!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

You can get a replica one..It's a lot cheaper than OEM but make sure you get a USDM Type R STYLE front lip..USDM being key word.Otherwise you'll get a civic Type R style made to fit Integras..Robear Racing,Weaksauce have um...I like the Spoon ones on Integras but the one you put at the top is pictured w/ a 94-97 Integra front end

 

Get the oem one ... you might be lucky like me and find a oem one for $30!! lol got it off a parted out itr!! and its better cause it has the tabs on the bottom so it fits better and more secure.

 

type r all the way. mugens look great, but on hatches IMO only...
