Icon2 obd0 to obd1 but keeping d16a6

I am wanting the tuning capabilities of the hondata s300, but I want to keep the Dinosaur d16a6. I am trying to achieve 400 plus hp on a non-vtec SOHC. So, my technical question is... Can I use a p28 chipped with the Hondata s300 to control my monster of a motor? (with the obd0 to obd1 conversion harness)

Things to know... I do not have vtec, yes I know that this is a vtec ecu, but I should be able to turn that off with the s300.

Should be able to do it.
Thinking you will just use a Y8 OBD-2 distributor and a 4 wire O2 to make this happen.
I can't think of any other sensors you would need to replace to go OBD-1.

So I should use an obd2 dizzy for an obd1 set up, or are you saying that I should use it because it will bolt to the d16a6 head?

i believe you can use a 92-95 civic DX engine model distributor. its a direct bolt up to the D16a6 head.

I was saying the Y8 dizzy because it would bolt up and sends the same signals as the OBD1.

Good point on the 92~95 DX as it will probably has the proper plugs if you get a jumper harness so it's better.

TD-41 Distributor, P06 ECU, 4-wire 02 sensor, Conversion harness.
