Default Ls swap headache

Ok so I pulled a perfectly fine mini me that I had on my ek. I replaced it with a 98 ls block with a b16 tranny. When I finished the swap it ran good started on the first try. Now my batterie won't hold charge!! I got the alternator checked( brand spankin new) got that batterie checked aswell. Wiring is go, all the fuses are go, but it just won't go. If I charge the batterie it will start but once I turnoff the car it won't start again. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Well i just got a chance to logg in and it seems that I might have to burn the ek
I took the advice and checked the grounds. I got my dremel and cleaned the contact point for the grounds, made sure the ends were ok. Then I took my batterie to get charged. I thought that I just borrow another new alternator from the parts store.( just in case). Put it all together and bam no freakin go!! Well tomorrow is another day. Thanks guys for the help.

well sumtimes i wonder if the ppl that test the batteries and alternators actually kno wut they r talking about...my moms battery had went dead one day and luckily she happened to be at advance when it happed lol...well the guys tested it and they said it was her battery that was no good...so she bought another battery and like a few days later it went dead again...come to find out it was her alternator that was bad in the first place ...so we replaced that and ever since she had no problems with it... also when i did my ls vtec swap in my civic, it started kinda weak, so i ended up getting a new battery...it might be because the battery in the car is intended to turn over a sohc, and a dohc requires a lil more amps...
