I'll be on the lookout as I hate crooks with a passion. Did you have any protection for thieves?

Yea ill admit it, I had no security. Once they got past the door locks they were home free. Ive learned my lesson though.

I've found out from personal experience that alarms and missing steering wheels wont even stop them.. =/

Let me ask as I just got my hatch, was it parked outside your house?

I get sorta paranoid so I keep it in garage.

But ill be on the lookout for those parts man..

I think most cars get nabbed at night in front of the house or some where like the movies where they know you are going to be for a while Mine is never parked out side, we take my daily or my girls car every where that requires getting out of the car........pretty sad actually

Sorry to hear man, did you atleast get it back in good shape or did they mess it up? Motor still in it?

Sure if someone really knows what they are doing and they are given enough time. But, a properly installed (hidden) 2 way alarm with a couple extra add-ons will work wonders in keeping your car from being stolen. It's about making it as hard as possible.

I have a nice 2 way with tilt, glass break, and kill switch added with a good install, and i block the car in with my wife's truck at night. I'm sure it COULD be stolen, but chances are they'll move on to the guy who feels like alarms are pointless

Thanks everybody for being on the lookout. It was parked in my covered parking spot at my apartment. I got the car back the next day but it was stripped. The only thing left was the frame and motor minus tranny (dont know why). So 99% chance insurance will total it.
