wipers completely dead

99 ej8. car was stolen about two months ago. ignition was broken and popped. took the car off the road since then. come to drive the car the wipers are completely down.they worked excellent before the incident. i mean not even a twitch in any setting. i did notice that when i click it on all the way to fastest setting i hear the relay, but still no movement. not sure what it is. everything looks fine from the outside wires and all the components. fuses are a ok. any ideas as to hat it could be

Sounds like a bad wiper switch. A couple of scres and one connector and your problem should be solved. Check out ALLDATAdiy.com if you need diagrams of it or the circuit.
a couple of "scres" not sure what this is please fix. i hope so to its weird that it stopped working completely like that

i pulled the ignition covers off and removed the plug that attaches to the switch. i plugged it back in just to see if maybe it was loose and still nothing.

that is what i think it is also. everything else seems to be in working order.

ended up being the switch. i just finished replacing it now. had to remove the steering wheel, srs donut, etc. thanx guys
