04 V6 Accord 60k Service questions?
Hi guys,
I just hit 60k on my V6 6spd accord. Dealer A said it would be $399 and its basically checking everything, tire rotation, and oil change. Dealer B said it will be $799 and they adjust the valves, change trans fluid, numerous checks, change fuel filter, oil change and tire rotation.
Is it normal for them to do valve adjustments? Is it necessary? What do you guys think?

I work at a dealer and never have heard of a valve adj at 60k on newer models unless there is an issue with loud valves or a misfire concern. sounds like a scam.
dont do the service at all in my opinion. go there get an oil change, tranny service, and a tire rotation if you even need it, you can check yourself it you need a rotation. also its a good idea to get an air filter and cabin filter which is easy to do yourself and save hundreds of dollars
