Is it possible to use a '92 Canadian prelude SR tranny with a 2001 H22A longblock
My friend blew his motor H23 and he is picking up a 2001 long block H22A. The problem is that the long block came with an automatic tranny. Will his tranny from his orginal motor bolt on without any problems?
Also, are the engine mounts the same between the h22 and the h32?

Engine mounts are the same, and the H23 should bolt right up. You won't have the best gearing, but it will work fine. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Canadian Trannies are the same as their respective US trannies

Cool, what about the harness, I know that he will need the plug for the VTEC solenoid, is there anything else, or can he use his existing harness, and a VTEC ECU
dont forget to hook up the little pink wire going to the runners.. and the h23 trans will bolt up just fine, there are a few other things thatyou should take into consideration and i would do a search to clarify.. if you go to hondaprelude.com on there main page there is a write up to do teh h23-h22 swap but i dont think they tell you to hook up the runners...
