Default 1st gen b16 o2 sensor which goes where?

question does it matter which o2 sensor goes in which bung on the manifold. for a 1st gen b16a. one o2 has a green plug the other has a white... there's a bung for runners 1and 2, and a runner for 3 and 4. which goes where? does it matter?>

it really doesn't matter.. as long as it gets a signal too the ecu it's all good!!!

That's incorrect. It DOES indeed matter which one goes where. Offhand I don't know where they go, but if you notice a strange surging at partial throttle/cruising on the freeway driving, try switching them around and see if that fixes it.

yeah it does matter, if you get bog, just switch them around.
