Default grind in shifting

does anyone know what causes a grinding noise when shifting. it only happens when i shift to 3rd or 5th. i have a 95 accord ex.

Check your tranny fluid level, but your synchros are probably going bad. There may be a 5th gear recall for your car.

What he said, probably a synchro going out. I had this problem a while ago and it seemed to have worked it self out. I would give it a few weeks and if it doesn't get better, let someone check it out.
