Default do i need the 2 motor mounts under the frame

hey guys i just bought some solid hasport motor mount for my 2000 civic coupe i was told that i can get rid of the two mounts that are under the frame on each side ,one that connects to the bottom of the engine and one that connects to the front of the tranny , right now the motor doesnt move at all let me kno what u think with them on so i figure i could take them off and make the bay look cleaner

it may not move at all with you pushing it by hand, but when you start driving hard and trying to shift those "lower mounts" (AKA torque mounts) keep the motor still. If you do not put them in, the motor will make the other new mounts you have wear much too fast.

Cliff notes: Put them in.

yea make sure you put at least the tranny one on if your to lazy to put them both on. but be careful when removing these mounts. sometimes what can happen is the threads on those two bolts on each mount can strip and youll end up with free running bolts. then the only way to remove them is to cut a hole in the frame and hold the bolt down with a screwdriver or something so the threads can catch again, if it catches.
