Okay I have a '92 Integra LS. 240,xxx Miles, Basic bolt ons. Burns some oil, But runs like a champ.
Should I Just Rebuild it, LS/V, Rebuild it W/ N2o.
I'm gonna use this as my daily driver, So nothing crazy.

And Could you give me a complete list on what you would buy to rebuild this B18a1. I'm new to engine building but trying to learn. I've already got Pistons, Rings, Main Rod bearings. What else should I get?.

List of Mod's.
Short Ram Intake
No A/C.
4-2-1 Header
Test Pipe
2.5" Piping to N1 Slant Muffler 2.5" in-3" out

Thanks.

i recommend at least researching turbo set ups as well though and at least become familiar with them because after years of spending money on all motor set ups i ended up going to turbo after all.. in almost every case its more bang for your buck... just my 2 cents after years of spending money on parts

build the ls!! i would do somethin different and i know everyone will tell you its a waste of money but building up a mild ls would be easy and cheap. you could biuld it with stock internals, maybe build the head a little, stage one cams, intake manifold, exhaust and so on and then add nitrous. i think that would be pretty cool, but its just a suggestion

I think it all depends on what your power goals are. then you can decide which route is easiest to your desired power range.

i did it, it sucked.. i mean there's no other way to put it... it was almost awful... i had crower 403's which are stage 2's... a b16 tranny with a 7lb flywheel so i had tight gears with quick reving.. 65mm tb with a blox mani.. jdm itr 2 1/2inch header.. the whole nine.. i was disappointing to say the least.... better off doing a backyard turbo set up on a bone stock ls motor..

i dont mean to bash you in anyway.. really.... just speaking from my experience because i thought the same thing... "well at least my set up is different" but at the end of the day you wont be happy with what is different.. you'll be happy with what makes you happy which is as much power and all around performance your car can have for the buck

wow im surprised, i was gonna build my ls just cause im always short on funds, living on your own at 18 trying to work and go to college sucks lol but anyway if you spent all that and weren't happy then im definately not gonna go that route either. im always about tryin to be different when it comes to cars and building but i dont like wasting money. good advice though!!

i honestly recommend it.. even if its just on 7lbs of boost...

i forgot to mention... i had 81.50mm ctr pistons in that ls motor too... so pretty much everything you could with the exception of headwork and bigger cams which i know is a lot.. and i know it would of been a totally different motor after headwork and cams but at that point i would of been into it almost as much as a turbo set up so.. there you have it.... 180whp - 185whp max with an almost fully fully built all motor ls... and a ls on boost.. 225whp + even on low boost...

(those are just numbers for sake of conversation.. obviously they can vary quite a bit but you get direction i was heading in)

but make sure to do a lot of research and do not drive the car until the motor is dyno tuned by someone who knows what they're doing.... i cant stress that enough

hope my 2 cents helped.. it looks like it might of or at least gave you some food for thought before you spend money no matter what you end up doing.

i recommend an ebay charge piping kit that comes with the intercooler... itll get the job done and well worth the money.. paint the front mount with black radiator paint for the sleeper look... try your hardest to avoid cutting the front bumper and cast iron manifolds are cheap as well... how ever whatever you do... don't go cheap on the turbo charger itself or the wastegate or the blow off valve.... as well as all of the oil lines and fittings etc... dont worrie about cams or an intake manifold or a throttle body only because your on a budget so all of what i mentioned plus the tune will add up to be more than you think but itll be worth it if you do it....

also dont forget all of your gauges... oil temp oil press wideband and an egt.. those are obviously a must, good luck!

Budget is around $2,000.. So obviously I'll be looking for cheaper or used parts not top of the line but i'm not going to buy ebay garbage.

I've read the G2ic Turbo guide.. you have me convinced really. I'm thinking of trying to find a slightly used Rev hard kit.. would that be okay or junk??

hey, I've got a turbonetics t3/t04b hybrid for sale if your interested.. its a smaller turbo and more ideal for a lower reving ls turbo set up versus a lsvtec or a higher reving set up and I say that because the turbo will spool quicker and reach full boost a lot faster. The turbo does have some play though.. its not brand new by any means but its a really nice turbo for a 200whp-300whp set up. I have pictures of it that I can email you. I'll let go for next to nothing if your interested.. I have it on ebay right now actually.. check it out...

You probably already know but Turbonetics make really nice turbos... very reputable company.

I need to pick a bigger one only because my set up is a lsvtec turbo set up that's probably going to rev a lot higher than an ls turbo set up

Motor was never rebuilt yet, But I have Extra brand new LS pistons and rings, bearings. ready to rebuild it. Would I need lower comp pistons for 220whp-250whp goal?

for a turbo set up... no. I'm going to run stock pistons with my turbo set up as a lot of people do. I am going to run a thicker cometic head gasket as well to drop the CR as much as possible and because cometic head gaskets are ideal for turbo and nitrous set ups.
