oil covered my spark plugs?
valve cover o rings? how hard is it to do this could it be something even worse they didn't looked fouled just had a lot of oil on them in cylander 3 and 4
yeah, that sounds like you need to replace your valve cover o-rings. I believe if you buy the valve cover gasket kit they come with the o-rings.
do you mean oil was down in the spark plug tube? if so then yes its the valve cover spark plug seals. if there was oil on the electrode then you have bigger problems. either leaky valve stem seals or leaking piston rings.
yeah the screw in part of the plugs had oil all over them i replaced them going to run it for a few days see if anymore gets on there i really hope its not piston rings that would suck i don't wanna buy another motor soon i need this to be my daily im already buying a catback cuz i need a knew one bad and a cai its the d15 dual point but its my first car that don't seem like a pos it don't run rough everyone keeps asking me where did i find it because its clean
but how else can i tell if its something major replace the o rings and what not see if it still happens

well mine does the same thing...but i have a blown headgasket and bad Orings so i'm not sure where the oil is coming from...i would be prepared to say its comming from the Orings however

if the oil was in the tubes the spark plug o-rings could be it but more than likely it is the rockershaft seal o-rings that are between the head and the rocker assemblies.
NOTE: this is for sohc non vtec engines, where the plug wires are closer to the intake manifold than the exhaust manifold
