Anybody hear of a rumor of a ex-sport compact racer going to Nitro F/C. Was talking among friends of the sport and this topic came up? Looking to see if this might be more valid than just a rumor. Thanks.

Miller it must be top secret so they cant say the name. Like they might get into trouble. Eggum got her licensing for a nitro class that is all I have heard.

cant belive im replying to this but i dont see how thats possible. antron is lucky to be racing this season. and with all due respect to jerrold theres a good amount of experienced nitro drivers with no ride that would get a call before him.

I can tell you that the name that came up is not anyone listed below. I actually have a call into this person and I am waiting a return call. I know them fairly well but not in a business way. I don't want to blow anything for anybody. I can tell you this person was around at the end of the sport compact reign last year, but until I hear back (and I hope I do) I'm not saying a word. I just wanted to see if anyone else heard the same name. Sorry.

 

Grant Downing was driving a top fuel car, not top alchohol. He was doing Del Worshams chassis, and getting his parts from him.
