Ok ran into another problem with this shitvic of my mines. Stock 02 civic just an intake nothing else. Heres the scenario:

I was driving beside a buddy of mines and we decided give our car's a little rip to see who would be the faster driver(FLAMESUIT ON) this was on a street that ended in a dead end constuction zone/residential area with no houses built yet nobody around so it wasnt exactly 100% safe but it was better than racing on busy streets.

ANYAWYS after little rip we had down the street i pulled into a parking lot cuase i heard a weird rattling/knocking sound comming from my engine bay. (Keep in mind thru i didnt redline the car shifted at around ~6-6.krpm redline is at 7.2ish) I get out and my freind thought my heatsheild broke loose hoping it was that my heatsheild looked perfectly fine. I checked my oil and it was a little bit lower than the bottom circle and was pretty dark. As i sat in the parking lot listening to the CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK my engine was making it all of a sudden just shut off. I turned it on and it shut off instantly.

Waited a couple seconds turn the car on, and it turned on but the noise was still there. Limping the car home with my hazards i quickly took it home(luckily i wasnt too far) and decided to put in 1/4 of a bottle that i had left of 5w-2O oil and thought might make things better. anyways now that the engine had a little bit more oil in it it still continued to make the knocking/rattling noise i have no idea what the **** it is and im hoping its not my engine knocking. I added 2 vids of the car's sound just so you guys can hear it and get a better idea of what im talking about.




PS: SORRY for the long *** essay but help a brotha out! TIA guys i have my fingers crosses i hope my engine is not toasted. BTW what really bothers me is that my engine has only 114k almost 115k on it so its ****ing in its primetime and it does this to me


BTW i forgot to mention: at no point during the little race we had did i missshift or accidentally downshift into the redzone and the knocking happend as soon as we slowed down to about 10 k/hr which is when i pulled over to check what was going on.

 

Sounds to me like you spun a bearing.
