Theif on camera. Need help clearing up the picture
I have two pictures of the person that stole items from my business.
If there is anyone in the ITR community that can help me or knows someone that can clear up the pictures for me would be great.
The first pic has the persons face.

The second pic has the persons license plate.

Thank you for your help.

I am sorry but there is not much you could do to improve it. You can try PMing user ipleadthe5th. He is very good with image editing.

What did they steal??
All that sh*t you see on TV like CSI and in the movies is BS - like when they take a picture like yours and pick out the smallest details.
My friend's store was robbed and we had video of them, too. Cops took it and did absolutley nothing with it.

it wasnt anything too much. furniture and a ladder.
i do not think the police are going to do anything because of the amount is under $500 but someone recently drove through my front doors and destroyed my entrance a month ago.....

You should put something up between the light and the camera. It should improve the picture for next time something happens.

You need to re-install that system. Relocate relative to light source and the rain gutter.
As above, there is no way to "enhance" an image that is 640x480 @ 15fps (most security cameras).
To get the face and plate information, the object in question should be 15% or more of the frame on a megapixel (1280x960) camera at 30+fps. That's a 450x450 pixel area - which would be most of your posted image. You need to capture the data to recall the data; there's no way to extract (i.e. "enhance") data that isn't there.
