Would like to know if they were or not. Particularly, 97 EX.

ABS only came with the EX models, I believe as an option.
You have to do a lot of work to install ABS onto a non-abs equipped vehicle.

*wishes the Si came with ABS in the USDM version. DAMN CANADIANS!!!*

 

The reason I ask it even though the SI's didn't come with ABS they have the wiring.....which makes me believe that even though the EX's didn't come with ABS, they have the wiring......comments?

 

the wiring harness for it? not sure. but you'd think the master cylinder needs to be changed aswell when the factory installed abs in the ex opposed to the master cylinder that was installed it in an EX without that option.

 

I thought ABS was only available for Automatics for the 97 EX Coupe and even then it was an option...

 

I have the orange plugs for abs in my 2000 dx. I am not positive its for abs, but I know the abs sensors have orange plugs and I have orange plugs under my rear seats that are not being used. So its a possibility.

 

That's what I was looking for......time to rip a Tegs abs.....(wrecked of course)
