Bolt-on Swap for 95 civic DX - manual
First - Apologies if this question has already been asked and/or answered. maybe post the link to that article ?
I have a 95 civic DX manual -stock- I think is has a d15 non vtec...
I'm looking to swap out an engine as soon as its financially possible..
Doing some research as prep. I'm looking for as MUCH of a DIRECT BOLT-ON as possible..
Does anyone have this car AND have done a successful bolt-on swap ? If so, to what.. So i have some ideas..
As for the price range - saving to be around 3000..
So, i figured I would try to acquire a decent second generation B16 Sir II with no LSD tranny..
Would this be a good bolt on ?
And what does it take to "convert" my car to be vtec supportive ? I think this motor takes P28 ecu, or so?
Any and ALL information on this topic is MUCH appreciated..
thanks again for your input and suggestions..
rock on, rollers..
