yea i had the same problem, bought the jg throttle and it came with a plate which i just blocked off the iac valve instead of using my old one. idles just fine. if u can find something to block it off it might work.
There are a few topics open in Tech on this subject. Before you purchase a new IAC Valve read this thread:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=246252
Some key points are:
My friend's Turbo JDM B16 has the same "Hunting Idle" problem you are describing.
Swapping the linear-type IAC with the Coil-type from a D16 did not help the situation.
Unplugging the IAC can help troubleshoot.
Use duct tape in the TB to trouble shoot as well. (see my last podt in that thread.)
Swapping the IAC is not guaranteed to work. You must first verify that the IAC is recieving current (near 12V) from the ECM. This can be done with a multimeter.
As it says in my post, it is also a good idea to check the Fast Idle Thermo Valve.
Good luck.
