Default Recommendations on Short Shifters better than DC Sports for Teg

Hi,
I have a DC Sports Short Shifter for my 1998 Teg. The thread where the shift **** is screwed on was "Raped" by the nut/washer that holds the shift boot up (nut got stock and had to be sawed off). I am looking for recommendation on a better short shifter. I DO like the DC Sports very much. I also had a Skunk 2 Double Bend but did not like the fact that it placed the shifter back to stock height even though the throws where shorter.

Who else make a short shifter that is short in height and throws?

Thanks

No what is there website. Is the height of the short shifter comparable to the height on DC Sports? I like the height and throws on the DC

Get the B&M Edge shifter. I got mine from www.optauto.com . Sure it rattles a bit, but that only happens at 80mph! I can't really hear it over VTEC...

ebelp: do you have a catback exhaust? I was told it might be the larger piping.. I don't know if it would rattle stock but someone told me its my cat back piping and the B&M vibrating.. dunnoz.. I just turn up my stereo and ignore it now..

I don not want to custom of "getto" rig the shifter. Pre made shifters please. Oh yeah why is the B&M so cheap?

maybe it rattles because it is hitting your heatshield?

Yeah there is nothing wrong with the shifter. I just like mine not to resemble the stock one.

I had Neuspeed Shortshifter on my gsr. I was very impressed on how good the quality of this shifter. It's not that cheap either.

LOL, I think the neuspeed shifter runs a good $175.00 . How was height of the shifter in relation to the stock one?
