Yeah I did it. Put them in the oven at 210-250 for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye on it though, and pry it open. I blackhoused mine.

Yeah, really keep an eye on it. Its probably super cold in Oregon so I would even suggest keeping your headlights inside to warm up before you just put them in the oven, that can crack the glass.

No pics of the process sorry. You can use a torch but you can melt the plastic on the back half. By using an oven you heat up the sealant just enough so you can pry it from the backing. I highly suggest not using a torch.

You can really use any sealant. But I just put it back in the oven and heated the sealant back up and just pushed them back together. Been fine for about 2 years now.

they dont paint the reflector so the light output should not change. all that is painted is the sides and bottom of the housing

Yeah, helped my brother do this with his tC headlights, put it in the over at 350 for 5-10 minutes. Put on some oven gloves get a knife or a flat head screwdriver and begin prying open the headlights.

To re-seal it either bake it again and squeeze or clamp them quick and let them sit for a while, or buy black sealant.
