Alex will be participating in the 2nd Annual Susan G. Komen North Jersey Race for the Cure on April 26, 2009. This race will raise much needed funds, of which 75% will be used for research and vital education, screening and treatment programs for underserved and uninsured populations in our local communities. The remaining 25% will be directed to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Award and Research Grant Program.

As a cancer survivor, and someone who had family members and friends who were not fortunate enough to win their own battles with cancer, this is a cause very close to my heart.

We are hopeful that any members who are able to do so will help us in raising funds to support this foundation and its incredibly important mission.
