air ride help

Default air ride help

I have an 04 civic lx. I put a set of air bags from airbagit.com in and i am hearing banging off the rear strut bags. How do i stop this banging? Company has been no help!

no one is really gonna be able to help you w/o seeing the setup. your best bet is to put the car up on jack stands and work the switches while lookin at the rear and then fix the problem once u identify it. or look for worn paint in the body or on the components.

i looked under car and no paint missing but i did find that the air bags are not bolted to the car

jesus! so are they bolted to the car now? or did u leave them so the car can get torn to shreds? post pix up of this car i wanna see how low it goes.

i called airbagit.com and they don't get bolted to the body they r a strut bag combo so it is to take the place of the shock and spring os i put them in as i would a shock and spring combo. the front went in nice . the rear is hard part i got no instructions on this kit to trubbleshoot any problems pics will be up soon

well lemme know when u get pix up. they have to bolt to the top of the body. 2 bolts uptop and 1 down low to the rear arm. wtf is holding them in?

well the rear has the 2 blots that holds the shock tower to the body and the bot of shock has 1 bolt going though 2 cone bushings and a himen but the top of the the bag is not bolted to anything it sits in the spring boot
