Icon2 How fix plastic headlight housing, glue or new?

Hi fellow Honda lovers,
the right front headlight plastic housing broke, when i slammed the hood down, anyway, i ducktaped in place, but to pass inspection...can i drill a hole (s) and connect with wires to keep it in place. this housing holds all the light fixtures for the right front (well except the fog/parking lights). its a 97 accord coupe. thanks anyone.

Did the clear plastic lens assembly seperate, or did you break the whole butt ugly thing off the radiator suppot?
That must have been one good slam to do this.

Unless you live in East Butth*le somewhere, i seriously doubt the mmonkey snot and bailing wire will do the trick, inspection-wise.

You could try two-part epoxy or something like JB Weld and see if either will take hold.
I was going to suggest 1a auto parts as a sourse for replacement headlights. These are manufactured by Eagle Products and have worked out quite well.

But, I must warn you; installing headlamps on a 5th gen can be problamatic.
