Default buying a 99 honda accord v6??

thinking about purchasing a 99 honda accord v6. it's going for 5k w/ 120k mi's. should i be worried about the tranny issue with this mileage?? i'm going to find out if it has the tranny changed, but if it hasn't should i still buy it?? the reman tranny suppose to be better, right??

If you buy it, you should buy it at a good enough price that you can afford to do a tranny swap. Because it will fail - very little doubt about it.

I agree with Market. Mine finally failed at 165K and it wasn't the usually shifting problem. It was the reverse gear that went out. $2800 bucks later it seems better than new. Good luck.
