ok im planning on ordering a set of koni shocks for my 93 civic hatchback. is it true that i wont be able to put my gc coilover onto the koni shocks without ordering new sleeves that are made specifically for the koni shocks only or can i just order the koni shocks made for the gc coilovers to just slip right on like it would on my stock shocks?

wouldnt the gc coilover sleeves just slide through the shocks since the shocks are skinny?

 

i was researching and i guess i need the adaptors but some people say that ground control dont sell them no more so is that true???

 

The new GC sleeves have a machined lip that sits on the circlip on the Koni shocks. You might want to call the place youre ordering from and confirm that they have these revised models. The springs are made to fit the shocks, not the other way around. Patrick GSR has a write up showing how the sleeves have a lip on the inside.
