Default B17 in EG...axle questions

93 b17 going into a 93 eg. i already had 94+ integra axles on hand but the driver side wouldn't mate to the tranny. is this due to the 93 intermediate shaft probably being different. i know 90-93 axles should work just fine but since i already had the 94+ ones could a 94+ intermediate shaft bolt into the tranny just fine or is 93 gsr one the only shaft that works for that tranny? which in that case ill have no choice but to buy 90-93 axles.

Yeah, you need a 94+ B-series intermediate shaft to retain those axles, other wise get 90-93 axles and leave your existing intermediate shaft.

No, the seals are the same, but if you want to fork out the $5.00 for new seals, go for it.
