Need your thoughts
So I am a senior in high school and I have to do a senior project.
Which is pretty effing gay, but if I am going to do it it may as well benefit me.
Any way, I have been running ideas through my head for what to work on in my car, and I have pondered swapping, turbocharging, supercharging, and basic tuning, and I'm open to any kind of interior or exterior modifications save for painting my car.
But the truth is, I'm not very knowledgeable with anything listed above, I have a time frame of about 3 months, and my limit would be $1500 to 2000.
It is my daily driver so I can't just take my engine out for a month; it would have to be weekend work, and I am aware of how difficult that will make things.
What can I do, I would really like to work with my car.
I have 98 civic with 130,000 miles on groundcontrol/koniyellow suspension on ls webs, and I have myself a little intake,
So other than that. I would appreciate your guy's thoughts and opinions.
Thanks.

Well ok with $1500-$2000 you could get a brand name turbo kit and install that in one weekend, but you'd still need to get it tuned. You might find a complete B swap for that much. i recommend getting a rebuild on any motor you plan on turboing; others will say different its jsut my opinion.
do a single cam vitara build for boost. pretty cheap and will get you nice numbers when you get the turbo if thats what you decided on. what HS in WA if you dont mind me asking? I grad from federal way HS and did a JDM B16 rebuilt and swap for my project.
i graduated in 07. im 20 now. i actually live up in your area now. the vitara build uses suzuki pistons which are around 7.5:1 compression ratio in a d16 block with d16 head. my buddy just did this build and at 20 psi he makes 315whp... and thats completely safe with this set-up. do a search and read up on it.
