idk why but i bought the car like this. the car seems to always have power running. i turn the lights on and of course they turn on like normal but i got an aftermarket dvd player and when i put the deck in it has power and stuff. im afraid to touch anything under the hood thinking that electricity is running even when its off. theres also an aftermarket alarm on it too

 

my first guess would be the main relay is bad, describe exactly what has power when the key is turned or is it actually everything

 

everything works when the key is turned on
and everything works when the key isnt even in like the radio i can turn it on and the lights and lights and stuff. its hard for me to explain but idk if its maybe because its an aftermarket deck or the alarm thats on it

mmm the only thing that should work when the key is out is you should be able to turn the headlights on and off and the horn honk... the radio and **** shouldnt work. does the a/c fan and stuff come on too? if so that alarm has something ran wrong or your main relay is stuck.
