Went to the track..my times!
ok first off, i have a 93 prelude Si w/ jdm h22a..non-lsd..im running AEM/DCheader..although i just got a greddy SS one today for my bday/ apexi exhaust..i also have a vafc..set at zero..and skunk2 cam gears also set at zero...getting those two tuned for my bday..anyways...i ran 5 times...14.253@98.00 was the fastest time..14.320 was the slowest...ive run 14.2 5 times, and 14.3 8 times...the 14.3s were on street tires, i got a set of radials, but someone told me they are a bit too big, lengthing my gearing..thier 225/50/15 they were used..i dropped like a half a tenth so far with them...my launches are a little better with them, but not what they should be.peace

Wow! That's a really good time for your relatively limited mods! I would think that the time you save on launch with the stickier tires would more than make up for the slightly taller overall gearing.

theres no weight reduction, full interior and spare,,,also your reaction time doesnt mean anything when looking at your times, the clock doesnt start until you leave the line, no matter how long u sit there..peace
What kind of radials do you have? 225/50-15 are the same O.D. as the stock 205/55-15. They are both 23.9". Maybe you aren't launching high enough. With my 225/50-15 BFG GForce Drag Radials I launch at 7000 RPM. 93 Prelude VTEC
