intake mani question

Default intake mani question

I just recieve a b18 motor and i was told it had the b18 obd0 intake mani on it. but it doesnt look to be so.. its stamped p75..any ideas?

sounds like a 94+ b18b intake manifold. atleast obd1, could be obd2.

hmm so what all am i going to need to convert to obd1..im swapping this is my 90 civic.. its already mpfi. Ill need an obd1 dizzy and computer right? and jumper harness?

yep. you can use an obd1 pr4 or p75. and you will need a 4 wire o2 if one isnt already attached to your engine.

you dont have to go to obd1 just because the mani is obd1.just transfer the wiring.you can also use a obd0 mani and go to obd1.

This guy is swearing up and down its an obd0 manifold.. i dont know tho.. and what u mean transfer the wiring? Use the obd0 injectors?

and here are both intake mani's so you can figure out which one you have..

if its obd0 it will have a diaphragm by the throttle body.

So what would be the benifits of turning everything to obd1 as opposed to obd0?

more efficient, but if your not modding much just stick with obd0.
