2001 GSR. I need to find a catalytic converter...
I have a 2001 GSR. I used to have a Greddy EVO2 exhaust. While it was on the car, I had to change the cat. It turns out that the Greddy exhaust is a bit shorter than stock or the previous owner hung it wrong, so the exhaust shop added some length added to the cat for a proper fit when I put a stock cat in about a year ago. Now I want to put a stock exhaust back on, but the cat is too long. Instead of modifying the cat again, I'm going to just replace it. My question is that there seems to be a decent selection of cats out there and the prices are all over the place. I'm looking at a Magnaflow cat, but I need to know that it is a direct bolt-on for the stock exhaust. If it's not, I'm open to suggestions and would love links to a place I can buy one.
This is the cat I am looking at:

Thanks in advance.

The link you posted is not a direct bolt on it's a slip fit. You can find them I've seen them on ebay but I don't know the company that makes them. I'm pretty sure it was a bolt on magnaflow cat. Are you looking for a high flow or just a standard cat??
standard is fine. I'm trying to return the car to stock. And I want to know that I have stock parts on the car if I ever need to make more repairs.
You're going to want something like this.

It's going to be a little more expensive since its direct fit. It says its only for up to a 95 but it's just an example. I'd go on magnaflows website to find a part number for your car. Or just google replacement cat for an integra and other options will come up too besides magnaflow. Check on ebay too but make sure you get a reputable buyer/brand or it might not fit right...

Try www.summitracing.com they have direct fit cats.

would this work?
I guess I'm confused what the difference is between the 1999 and the 2001 GSR models. There is almost NOTHING that says it fits a 2001.

i just looked at the link you posted, in the pic it doesn't show flanges. if you order a cat without flanges you can just get it made to the correct length when getting the flanges welded on, you can probably reuse the flanges from the cat that's on your car right now.
so how do I find out what the correct length is? I don't have a stock cat to go by. I could live with this solution.
did you do a search? i just typed in 'cat length' and selected the integra forum; got 30 pages of results. if you're too lazy to do that, you can always bring your stock exhaust with you to a muffler shop and have them install the original exhaust and cat for you.

yeah, suppose I could use the search function. Doh!
I am taking the car to a local exhaust shop tomorrow though, so that I can see about salvaging what I have instead of having to pick up something new. If they say I need a new cat as opposed to shortening the one i have back to stock length, then I'll dig a bit deeper into this. I guess I'm waiting on their verdict tomorrow morning.
I don't think you're going to spend much to have them shorten it. I'm going to say maybe 30-45 bucks. That might be a better option then to spend $150ish on a new one.
