need help skunk 2 springs or skunk 2 coilover?
like it says i just braught the skunk2 sport shocks, and i was wonderin which is better? performance wise? either the skunk2 lowering springs or the skunk2 sleave coilover, i know the difference i know that you can at the most get a 2.5 inch drop with the springs, and over 3-4 inchs with the just the coilover sleave, but i want a good ride no bumpy ish, and great cornering, now the sleave coilovers are stiffer, and they are the race springs, so just let me know what you guys would do, springs or coilovers
do the lowering springs.....with the coilovers you will get a good straight and corner ride, but but but as soon as you get into some bumps all you will get is klunking......with the springs the are tight to the tower and good corners, straights and a more cumfortable ride, the coilovers were originally made for the track(smooth) ...IMO get the springs you will be more satisfied
i would get the springs as they ride way better than the coilovers do. I have coilovers on my car and my friend has springs on his both skunk2 of course and stock struts as far as i know
but this is the thing, i have a b16b CTR motor in my EG6 and im gonna be going to the track a lot, some dyno time, but then again i have a new born daughter and shes gonna be in the car, now my question is how are the straight springs on the track?
ill stay with the lowering springs y u ask because of the ride comfort... coilovers juz klunk too much and very uncomfortable wen u gonna ride the car for a while i got on my car skunk2 lowering springs with tokio it i spelled it right lol studs and the car drive amasing wit crazy *** resaults on and off the track

there good but wen u tend to brake hard they bounce dont noe y also like i say sumtimes is good mixing it up a lil if u understand like me skunk 2 lowering spring with tokio struds u can do that im tellin u is nice and it all depend on ur spring compression weight wat is it?
i have the springs and shocks you are talkin about honestly just use your stock top hats the struts are already designed for less travel and the stock top hats are more than sufficent to do the job. overall i believe the springs will work best since your car is not solely a track car. they still have stiff rates and should do fine at the track
well i already ordered the skunk2 shocks, they will be here on the 19th, and as far as spring compression rate i wouldnt know its the skunk2 lowering springs for 92-00 civic and 94-01 integra, my just has a b16b CTR motor, full interior gonna get some end links its a lil wobbly in the rear
hey then by all means put it and enjoy because is not bad im just sayin and u need to remember mix things up puttin matching **** in ur car is not always the best thing to do
i had skunk2 springs and skunk2 shocks on my DA... tucked blades in the rear. it was kind of a rough ride. I now have ksport coilovers on my eg and it is a lot smother and just as low. ride quality is subjective, and also has a lot to do with the spring rates. what are the spring rates on the s2's? my ksports are 12k f/ 10k r and it is stiff, but I like it. paired w/skunk2 LCA and ASR brace right now.
