cabin harness swap???
basically the cabin harness that was in the car is screwed! car is a 91dx hatch, 5spd, found a 91 crx dx auto in a junkyard and pulled the cabin harness, removed my old harness and upon installing the new i find plugs that don't have a destination.
red plug-female-8 wire-by fuse box under driver dash
clear plug-male-single green wire-behind main relay near firewall
not sure what these go to, used the crx cluster, car is not cranking or even attempting to crank, checked fuses and nada, turn the ignition on and nothing, fuel pump does not prime, starter gets no signal, nothing. im thinking my p28 is fried due to the chopped up cabin harness that was in the car before, having a friend come over tomorrow and were going to plug my p28 in his eg/z6 to verify thats what it is, anything else i should look for? and any idea what those 2 plugs go to? im thinking the red one is important...hence the red color...

since the donor harness came off of an auto car. maybe u need to jump one of those plugs because i think auto cars have a sensor that tells the car thats its in park so it will start. someone correct me if i'm wrong.
Ok i have dont plenty of cabin harness swaps there is alot of extra wires on the auto harness and the then comes the rear section like tails lights thats a little diffrent, I have always used civic to civic crx to crx i wouldnt even attemped a auto in a manual car there is the netural safety switch for the auto the relays to a box on the shift lever then the extra ecu wires the plugs that go to the engine will need to be depined and swaped if more of a headace then worth it. i would find a civic hatch and 5 spd harness if not download the factory wiring diagrams and start tracing goodluck
