Default squeeking noise help

The noise is a metal on metal squeeking noise that is not that loud, but definitely noticeable. It is a EEEEE, EEEEE noise. It only occurs while the car is in motion, no matter what speed, and only if there is a passenger. There is absolutely no noise when I am alone or if it is wet/raining. It is not a wheel bearing noise. When I took it to my mechanic, he retightened my tie rod nut and the noise went away for a few days but then came back. When I took it back to the shop, he said the tierod was tight and he drove it with me in the passenger seat and there was no noise. When I got home and drove my mother the noise came back and she is lighter than me, so weight is not exactly a factor here. The noise comes and goes, its usually one squeek, followed by a few seconds of silence and then another squeek. It actually does not make noise over bumps.

Could it be the brake pads? I have not changed them and the car is at 60,000 miles. My mechanic said that they dont have to be changed, but he is just looking from the outside. My front rotors are pretty rusty. Could the added weight be the reason?

Could be tie rods or lower ball joints. Try spraying some WD40 on the tie rods and ball joints and seeing if the noise goes away (if they are the problem, the noise will only go away for a short time, then come back when the spray wears off).

I have a sqeeking noise too, it sounds like mine is coming from my springs though. I'm trying to figure it out or just get my turbo on so I don't have to hear it an more. But my only thing is I want to change suspension to Ground Control Coilovers but I don't have the money right now. But I have Tein Lowering springs stech on my car right now. Do you have any suggestions?
