Default Converting to Synthetic Oil

I own a '94 LS and I want to change over to synthetic oil.

What do I need to do to clean out the old oil and get the engine cleaned out for the new synthetic oil?

Also, what brand of oil do you suggest?

Thanks a lot!

You dont have to do anything. It is even alright to mix synthetic and petroleum based oils.

yep just drain the old stuff and fill up with the new stuff.

Castrol and Redline full Synthetics are personal favorites. Mobil1 is still okay.

Mobil 1 doesn't make the Tri-synthetic oil anymore. They have a new formula, Super-Syn...

Are synthetic oils safe for high millage cars (113,xxx) ??? I would love to run Mobil1 but don't want to do anything to damage the engine? Also, what weight is everyone running with the Mobil1 ?
